No one pays attention to a car alarm, mostly due to those dip____s with oversensitve shock sensors that go off every time the wind blows. Over the years people have just gotten the mentality of "oh, its just another over sensitive alarm going off". So if someone wants to steal your ride by loading it up on a trailer... no one is going to even pay attention most likely. Hell, someone could simply paint up a flatbed like a repo truck and drive away with all they wanted. So basically, your alarm will prevent petty theft, but if a serious car theif wants your car, he WILL steal it.
