i think they mean the little compartments to the right of the sparetire. lift up the hatch, look to the right, there is a small cloth tab that pulls up the floor panal where a cheap styrophone like cubby makes several small hidden compartments. i'm thinking about putting stereo stuff like amps and a subwoofer down there so i'll still have trunk space when i'm done.

How do you turn off the radio steering wheel?

just hold down the menu button for a couple of seconds than your radio will turn off.

This closed the deal for me.

Take off the head rest of the front seat, pull it all the way forward, bend the seat all the way down so that its even with the rear seats.

But you can sit in the rear seats and put your legs on the front seat. Its perfect if you get tired and sleep in your car a lot like i do. Its also good if you have a dvd and wanna get your romance on with your gf or bf.

The Honda fit calls it "refresh" mode.

i was suprised that i was able to fit 10 ft long piping inside the tc with the hatch closed! i had to put the passenger seat back and the rear seats down; the piping fit diagonally resting on the dash in front. who needs a truck?!

I found out it's a whole lot of car for the money.. out of ANYTHING in it's class.. It has a quality feel.. The transmission is silky (unlike the craptastic 07 Civic EX I test drove)

Found out I won't need to replace the headunit nor speakers as it sounds great enough to me (best factory radio i've heard/owned; not that there aren't better OEM stereos out there in other vehicles).

I already knew the gears were too short (drove my gf's 06 tC all the time).. It really does need a 6th gear or just longer gears in general; it could have easily gotten 34mpg with a longer 5th in the very least.

Has tons of features for the price.. I can't get over how much quality there is. Sure, some of you are having nasty rattling problems (mine have yet to surface) but looking past the rattles, you have a fine automobile backed by a proven engine that will last many, many, many years.

Ninja edit: If you want to see how nice your tCs really are.. go drive a 07 Civic EX (which cost 20k+).. 3k+ more for what? Exactly..

Yeah, I found that out at night too.

And what is that button in the glove compartment that says "set"?

It goes on when the computer thinks your tires aren't inflated properly.

My uncle had a Sienna and it was always on, despite a tire guage saying they were fine. The problem was that he upgraded rims and tires. Go figure.

There is a lever on each side of the back seat on the top of the seats. You simply pull up on it and throw the seat back!

I changed my radio settings to xA and boy it made a difference in sound.

The bass isn't boomy anymore and the mid bass is actually sweet! I only gave the factory radio an 8 now I give it a 10.

Wow, I learn something new about this car as time goes by.

I played around with the car settings in the radio myself, and still find the tC setting the best (if you want a lot of depth).. The other settings are obviously for smaller speakers.

3rd brake light doesn't light up all the way!!!!!!! SON OF A B!TCH !!!! GOWE)#(*)*(#Y)*%^@%Y)**@)*T)#)%#@
Heh, drove me so nuts I started that "LED_Headz" thing with Trung (Squalllheart).

Hey, there's a dome light over the rear seats too.

The spare tire is painted to look like it came from a 1950's schoolbus or something - seriously, it's like some bizarre crappy brownish-yellow color.

I second the discovery of the drug-smuggling pockets - perfectly sized for marijuana, cocaine, x, handguns, and freshly laundered cash! Er, I meant... jumper cables and tools.

The car can be (almost) completely dissassembled with hand tools (10 mil, 14 mil wrench) and by hand

1)the sunroof squeaks
2)the hatch rattles
3)the doors sound like they will fall off when slammed (had to deaden them)
4)gas pedal was very slow on the pick up/acknowledgment of pressure
5)very easy to take apart for anything (exterior/interior)

The car comes with a first aid kit!

I got a bad cut from work (stupid PC case cut my finger) and I had to go to the drug store for band aid. Looked in the pouch that came with the car a week later and found the first aid kit. LOL

I was shocked to find out a couple months after I got it that the indicator light at the tip of the climate control dial turns color.

About 1 month ago I found that there were different car settings on the stereo. xA,xB, or tC. HUGE difference in sound quality.
