wait, theres a storage compartment in the trunk??

-oh does anyone else have a tempermental cover for the stuff in their trunk? mine wont clip and STAY clipped to the headrests of the backseat..

-happy to know about the text button, saved me a lot of aggrivation with my ipod and trying to find a certain song (oh the fact that i have to scroll thru the whole alphabet to get to an artist that starts with S or something)

-and lastly how LONG it took me to figure out how get into my own trunk, hahaha!! there should be a hatch release button somewhere, on the key or inside the car

Wow, this thread is kind of a disgrace to all the salespeople you got your tCs from. These things are all the awesome little features I point out on the first "walkaround" with customers when Im trying to build value in the car. If your salesperson didnt ever show you the reclining rear seats then dont even buy a car from them again. You people were all robbed of basic knowledge you should have been showed before you drove away with your new car. At least you're all banding together and helping out. Sometimes if Im feeling ambitious I will program the customers name to display on the radio when the car is turned on. That really blows customers away!

Did anyone else notice that you can change the angle of the driver's headrest upward or downward depending on how steep you want the front part to be (the same way as in a Bmw's and Mbenz's)?

I've also noticed how weak those tires are. I've also noted that I really do not like amber now.

However, I find these cloth seats to be very comfy. Usually, I'd prefer leather.

Yes. Drives me nuts and has been like that since day 1. One of these days I'm going to run by the dealer and demand a new one.

this thread just made me crack up cuz i experienced most of the same things! (trunk light, car type setting, custom welcome message, closing/opening stereo door....)

my 2001 highlander had reclining rear seats.

for those of you who were complaining about the blind spot (which i do agree, the pillars in the tC are very poorly placed), but are you aware you can adjust your side mirrors to eliminate the blind spot? (in general, not a tC feature....)

Yeah, it's pretty much blind spots everywhere.

Mine came standard with yokohama tires, those are freaking awesome, maybe I should stop trying to drift with those good tires

And I swapped out all the amber lights, by myself. I really could not stand that color

I wonder why this car wasn't sold in a Legos box. It takes almost no effort to take everything apart and put them back in that it was actually fun doing it

I have this car for only a few months, before that, I knew nothing about cars. Used to just drive a car from point A to point B. I was more a computer guy. Now I practically have taken all the interior pieces apart and put back in. It was so scary at first cuz I thought I might break something but this car is so cool. I found my new hobby now hehe, working on my car

Next mod: paint the brake caliper red, put LEDs in the door storage area and have them light up when door open
