Hmmmm....I guess for now, I will wire a switch to the actual bulb harness, run it through the firewall, and kill it whenever I set my alarm. Until someone can figure out which relay to use, this will have to do I guess.

I need to just get in there with a test light. I believe its just a single wire that sends a pulse to the headlight relay to trigger the lowbeams to turn on and off. I'll go work on it right now!

Hey Hollywood, I dunno if this will help you, but with the wiring diagram in conjunction with this, it may.

questions. does the low and high flash or just only the high? i am reading the wiring diagram and looks like the low's are positive trigger and the high's are negative trigger. this means you might need 2 relays to make high beam flash to work (if it already doesn't).

ignition harness wire is located under the steering wheel. turn the steering wheel until u see the 2 screws that are holding the bottom panel together. remove them and then squeeze on both sides and pull downward. u will see a main harness with some thicker than usual wires, one of which is blue color. unplug this harness. put key into ignition and turn twice. you should have no power to AC, radio, etc i believe. turn again and you should NOT be able to start the car. if so, this is the right harness. proceed to tap the blue wire.
on the left bottom side, u'll see a panel with a hole to put ur finger in to pul it off. u'll see the harness in the picture below. disconnect this connector and try to turn on your headlights. they should not be on.

u have to splice it into 87 and 30 on a relay. and splice 85 and 86 on the relay to your chassis GND and other to the blue ignition wire under the steering wheel.
the blue wire act as the trigger that tells the relay when to connect or disconnect 87 and 30.
if u cut the grey wire, i suggest u go to ur local OSH or ACE hardware ASAP and get some female and male spade connectors, wire crimper so you can reconnect where u cut ( but u might as well just stop by radio shack and get a DPST relay, some wires, self-tapping screws, and a ring terminal to complete the job. shouldn't cost you more than 10-12 dollars minus the wire crimper.

Ill make an entire write up for it, pictures and all! Question though, what is #16 and #34 for?
EDIT:Took a look at the ignition wire you were talking about. You have the wrong harness, that harness is for the windsheild wipers. The harness we're looking for has a bunch of green wires running to it. I found one that is dead with ignition off, but hot with it on!
