Default For those with pulled fender liners

Last summer i just sucked it up and dealt with this problem, but i don't want to anymore. For those who are slammed and have no fender liners, how do you stop the water from coming in from the wheel wells? It only happens on the drivers side when it is raining, it comes right into the car and drips all over my left foot. I am pretty sure it is coming from where there is a hole in the fire wall, but im not sure how to cover it up. This obviously, does not happen while the fender liner is in.

Thoughts? Im tired of getting wet feet while driving in the rain lol

Lmao that's funny. No problems here. Pulled my fender liners off about 3 weeks ago and no wet feet for me. Been through rain like 5-6 times here.

i know you said the water was getting on your foot, but are the seals okay around the door? and did you install anything from the engine bay to the interior through the firewall? it could be that

I had a similar problem in the same general area. You could have a problem with your windshield. When i bought my tc it apparently had had the windshield replaced by a crappy company. After about a year of me owning it it developed a leak at the a pillar that dripped onto the dash and behind the ac vent and then ultimately on my floor. After i went to get it looked at and ultimately replaced, the safelite guy showed me a gap in the sealant where the leak was.

It wouldn't hurt to investigate the seal at the firewall and see if you really are missing that gigantic rubber grommet.
Where about is it located? Im assuming this is it.

Negative, only happens when the liners are pulled.

I don't have my liner on the driver side. No wet feet. When I did have my fender liner in, I got drips on my feet before. I actually decided to look up in there. I could see where the drips were coming from. It looked like condensation was building up. I stuck my hand and hit something really hot. Not sure what it was. It was weird, but it wasn't raining. If it only happens when it is raining, I would just go out and give it a look. You seem to know the problem, so why don't you go out and try to fix it?

You're right i do think i know the problem. I am simply asking if others have also had this issue and how they remedied it.

I've just had the issue where the water goes by the door where you would step to get in but never actually by the pedals (guessing that's where you are getting it from). It most likely is from the fender liners. I don't think it would be from the firewall.
