Default Tire rotation

Do you guy do your rotations yourself ? How do you jack one side of the car to rotate from front to back ? I have a floor jack but wasnt sure if there was a centralized jack spot between the front and rear tire.

If you have those tools, then somebody in the house should know something about rotating tires. It is very easy. Just use your stock jack for the front side. Get another jack either from another car or something and jack up the same side but towards the rear wheel.

Step 1: Loosen the lugnuts on the wheels (just loosen them, do not take them out)
Step 2: Use Jack1 to raise up the car so the wheel is off the ground
Step 3: Repeat step2 with jack2 on the same side of the car but the other arrow
Step 4: Take the wheel off and switch them
Step 5: Lower the car and repeat step 1-4 on other side.
Step 6: Grab a beer and go back to on scionlife to look for deals

What is wrong with you guys ? Do any of you read what I type ? I didn't come hereto be told how to rotate my tires. I posted because I wanted to know if there was a safe spot to put a floor jack on the side of the car to lift both the front and rear (same side) of the car. How is this so difficult to understand ?

Flaming aside, is it hard to goto a parts store and spend 20 bucks on jack stands and use those? You can jack the car up on the "frame rail" (not a true frame since its a unibody) right in the middle of the car about 3" into the door from the rear. I wouldn't jack off the pinch weld's that are outboard on the car.

Happy?

There is nothing wrong with us.
we answered your question.
but in case you missed the answer here it is again.

NO.

Buy jackstands or use one of the other methods stated.

And before you make a thread like this again, read the owners manual and/or google. You will find your answer.
