The one thing I hate looking at when I pop open the hood to my car is that ugly looking battery....does anyone know of a site i can go to to purchase a cover or different terminals or something to change the looks of the battery area....i would very much appreciate it....

 

You can get the Optima battery. It looks different and serves other purposes.

 

You could spray paint the whole area purple.........

 

I have the optima and it looks a lot better than stock.

I had one about 10 years ago when I had a massive stereo. I just LOVED that battery. Never let me down. Looks good too!

^^^ Optime aweighs almost the same as the stock battery, ~40lbs. If you want to shave weight, you'll need an Odyssey. I have a RedTop, but didn't really want to look at it either. So I covered it.

 

Love what you did to the heatshield.

 

How about a lightweight battery? Way better, what about the Odyssey batteries?

 

Taking your hood off helps with weight too. (hint, look at Doc. I's picture)
