Totaled my tC
#63
Great to hear your ok.. I've been involved 4 or 5 accidents in the last year or so. *No i was not driving, I was a pasenger in all but one.* As long as the insurance company deems your car totaled, get another tC and get back on the road.
it took my wife nearly 4 months to start driving after our acident in January, which was probably only half the damage as yours. I still lost sleep and had to put up with insurance companies. Take care, and please let me be that lucky if i get into somethign like that.
here are some pics of our accident in case you interested.
We were in a Jetta, and we were hurt more than you seem to.
The majority of the damage is hidden.. i.e. compare each of the front wheels, notice how the axel is straight. also the trick had hit us twice demolishing her back door, although the pic doesn't show it.. total cost to fix it was 11,500 total value of the car at the time was about 13,500..

I'm glad you are ok. I did my research about safety ratings with the tC and actually saw the crash test and results. I see your vehicle and I must say that the tC is a fine choice. If it were me, I wouldn't be deeply in sorrow for the loss of my vehicle. Instead, I would be kissing & thanking that vehicle and say goodbye as it gets crushed. Not to say you didn't do that or don't feel that way. But to me, it feels like your loss and most of all your safety has an emotional attachment to not only me, but others as well. Hence, Scionlife and its members. We are family through this forum.
Just don't ask me for money to get you a new one cuz I just bought mine. lol!

Someone was looking out for you, bro. No doubt. Glad to see you're ok. But as far as not driving goes, if you don't pick yourself up a.s.a.p. you may never.
My aunt crashed her Harley doing about 60 + on the highway. Amazingly, she walked away with slight road rash (she wears leathers, boots, HELMET , etc.) and the bike still rode. My uncle made her get back up and ride home. She still rides to this day. Good luck with everything, close call!

I got pics of a nasty accident that happened where I work. Car hit a pole going 90mph and tore in half. Passenger got ejected and died. If you looked at the body, you saw that his ribs and pelvis were broken.
And dogs are worth 75pts. Little ones are only worth 25.
