you can get them here on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...spagename=WDVW

these are the *authentic* hir bulbs. the only thing is that the guy doesn't pre-trim the bulbs for you anymore , but he does put a little white paint on the bulb to show you where to trim in order for them to fit in your 9005/9006 housing.

or

you can try these. they are polarg branded and a *great* price. i've seen these online selling for $125+ and there is a site that currently sells them for $124. now, i'm not sure about the quality though. i bought these for my tC, but i don't get my tC till next tuesday or i'd let you know how they are haha: http://automotivelightingusa.com/ind...roducts_id=936

I saw the automotive lighting ones but anything that good a price usually is too good to be true so I go with the ones that are used by auto manufacturers.

a very good price! if any one is interested, get them now because polarg discontinued these and some people still sell them, but not *this* cheap! and yeah, i can't find the polarg 9005s anywhere at a good price, so i imagine that i'll get the 9005 hir's from the ebay guy eventually.

and you don't want the ge bulbs. i think ipf still sells the the OLD ge hir bulbs and they are a RIP OFF ($115/pair). if you want to get authentic/oem hir bulbs using the current hir technology, get the toshiba's that ebay guy sells. and he is doing free shipping right now! normally he charges $7.50 for the shipping...

also, a great reference/resource for the hir bulbs can be found here: http://hidplanet.com/forums/viewtopi...ad149c2ab9529c

fyi:

Remember the Luminacs and Silverstars are just tinted halogen bulbs that actually put out LESS light than stock infavor of a pretty color. HIR bulbs infact do increase the light output, making for a real beneficial upgrade, and not just cosmetically

Halogen Infrared Reflecting bulbs HIR actually increase amount of light and still use same wiring from car so no need for upgraded wiring like HIDs and less expensive
