Im rocking an 87 supra shift **** that all the leather fell off of (j/k, I stole it from my friend after he got a new one for his supra)

Im thinking about getting a Celica GT shift ****, or another OEM toyota **** that feels good. Or the Greddy GREX ****.
Maybe yours is, but the thread in a tC is 12mmx1.25. Anybody that buys a 10mm **** isn't fitting it in a tC.

I've got the TWM shifter/**** combo. Perfect counterbalance, and the SS **** goes very well with the tC interior.

Default OBX shifter Issues

Anyone had a problem with the Plastic Holder that the OBX Automatic shifter threads into on the TC?? I some how stripped out the plastic spacer on my Automatic TC. Any advice on the plastic to replace it or a better shifter that threads directly onto the post would really help..

great suggestions all,

the Subaru fitting and the 12 mm being the thread size really help,.

BMW shifters are some of the nicest Ive seen so far but their gearing diagram on the shifters seem to always have reverse in the upper part where 1st is on our car,

so that would look rather ___ hehe

any one have pics of some nice Subaru *****?
they are probably all leather though.

does mazda Speed thread fit ours?

zzzzzzz

My **** is from a WRX. leather **** with a fairly heavy weight, very soft leather.. and stitching that doesn't hurt. i LOVE this thing. It doesn't fully fit right since there's a protruding metal piece that sticks out on the bottom..but i had a trim piece from my old Razo **** that fixed that problem. I modified it a bit, and it covers the extended metalness just fine. now it looks GREAT and more importantly feels awesome!

The OBX shifters just arent doing it for me, neither is the TSW, and the entire MOMO line always looks to much like a cobra head ( i.e. tacky ).

I think our thread is 10 mm, maybe its 11 mm, and perhaps would support Supra *****, BMW maybe,. well anyone have any shots of their setup that is not stock and not OBX,TSW, or MOMO. Any thoughts on thread size and alternatives would make me happy.

Good luck on your challenge and thanks in advance.
Here's my tacky, cobra-like Momo shift ****!

A leather covered "Superanatomica" I think it looks a lot better than a lot of those chromey metal ones, JMO. and it feels very good to the hand when shifting.

Same thing happened to me, Mine is glued on for now, If you need to take the console off and it's glued on you can just shift to neutral and it pops off.

The Mazdaspeed thread pattern is M10x1.25 so unfortunately it won't fit a tC.

Have you all seen some of the new shift ***** we've released? Checkout www.twmshiftknobs.com for our full lineup, below are a couple of pics of some newer ones...

Classic Series Satin Finish:

Classic Series New Chrome Finish:

.44 Magnum in our Gun Blue Finish (A polished black):

Our new Bombshell in Stainless:

All our ***** are weighted for added performance and are made specifically for the tC's threads...

Thanks!

Karel, are those held on by the setscrew I see, or are they
threaded?

I kinda like the looks of the bombshell since I shift both
trigger style and palm style, it would work well for me.
Can you do aluminum polished or chrome?

The classic series of shift **** thread straight onto your shifter, the set screws are only there to orient the logo. The Bombshell uses a new aluminum insert system which adds far more height adjustability while maintaining a solid, metal on metal feel, check out this article for more details on the aluminum insert mounting system: http://www.twmshiftknobs.com/column/index.html

Currently the Bombshell is available in stainless steel (pictured above), Gun Blue, Flat black and Satin will be available shortly but there are no current plans to offer a chrome version. The stainless steel **** is quite shiny though as it is polished.

Let me know if there is anything else I can help out with,

Karel

what's wrong with Momo?

it seems that the statement on the entire Momo line looking like a cobra head couldn't be more off.

I got the GReddy ****, it's really heavy, which gives great throw feel and the top had three different "Sticker" options, in which the grey matches my dash perfectly.

Here's the photo...

Check it out on GReddy's online store.

I bought it at a local shop (Speed Customs) Aloha, OR

It looks GRREEEAAAATTT!
