Here it is, lets see what those first 100 have to say. I tried to put everything I knew of (most from the hidretro.com page). let me know if I missed some.

 

Here's what i personally like
BMW 5 series bi-xenon (low/high) projector replaces 9006 halogen low beam reflector
BUT i also want the white led angel eyes and PLEASE PLEASE make the amber side marker silver...this will add a beautiful contrast to the black housing unit..
Also if possible maybe we can get the eyelid lit with led's and they could work with the blinkers....just an idea that i love...Anyway thats my wish list for projectors!!!!

 

Why not just relocate the front blinker to the eyebrows, kinda like the BMW 7 Series. I think thats the series that has the blinker in the front that is above the headlights.

 

guys we use the X5 angel eyes much brighter. . .

 

I'd love a few things to be done. 5-series projectors, side marker cleared, blinker light in the eyebrow. halo's are okay.

Basically, just move all the 5-series components over to the tC housing.

 

After seeing TL's, TSX's and an assortment of BMW 3 and 5 series here in town, I'd have to say I like the Bimmer's color just a tad more. Being so new to HIDs, i can't myself comment one way or another. I know some really like the s2000 projectors. However, just from a cosmetic standpoint I think I'm about the 3 and 5 series BMW setups.

 

uh.. i thought the whole point of the Umnitza project was that it WASN'T going to be just another retrofit. We're designing our own projectors from scratch.

So why bother with this poll?

 

i voted for the S2000 i hear they have the best cut off.

on a side note, Ptucker did you by anychance change the name of the the umnitza list. i think we only need 7 or so more instead of 11 :D

Personally, I liked the Acura TSX lights better than all the rest.

 

Rather than Angel eyes, since Umnitza is doing this, how about the cold cathodes?

I'm sure they could supply whoever makes the lights the cold cathodes..

Also - don't you guys want the demon/angel eyes to be day time running lights rather than parking lights? You want people to see them while you're driving right? With the headlights on, they'll be hard to see but as day time running lights, people will see during the day (demon eyes ARE visible during the day normally.)

 

angel eyes rather than running lights, e46 3 series projectors or 5 series....doesnt matter.....clear or smoked sidemarkers is a must and black inner housing...none of that chrome pos crap.....

 

Kungpao, I know for myself I'd rather I have the option to turn them off if I wanted

 

i'd rather not have angels eyes or have the blinker relocated.

as for the projector, S2k or TSX (both are similar) get my vote. second pick would be the 3 series/e46.
