I went to that website, but there are two types offered, which did you get: Surface Mount LED - Power Top or Surface Mount LED - Dome Lens? Thanks!!
Also,
I replaced my license plate lights with leds also, you go through the back of the hatch, very easy.

This is the direct link for the blue ones that i bought:
http://www.lc-led.com/View/itemNumber/98
Power Top Super Blue SMD - 350 mcd
PLCC package type. Footprint: 3.5 x 2.8. InGaN dice material. Colors: Blue (470 nm). High luminous intensity. Viewing Angle: 120 Deg. Compatible with IR reflow soldering process. For optimal colorization and intensity (350 mcd), forward voltage of 3.0V-3.6V is recommended.
To order samples(15 pieces $20.25)
I am not sure if the Dome ones work or not!

Your HU looks absolutely sick i love it!!!! what type of LEDS did you use and how hard was it too do........you should do a DIY for everyone since there isnt one yet......if you could PM some instructions-hints-problems spots thanks well done
drainbamaged -
Well the thing is that those are the same ones for the ac controls but i have heard that they come out very dim and hard to see.
I used 14 in the gauge controls and this thread is a great DIY to follow!!!!

Thanks for the help Fsu1dolfan, that how-to will help greatlly. I've seen someone do the head unit on other threads but is charging for it. I'm sure we can do it oursellves just as easily. Do the needles on your gauges as accurate as they were before you changed the lights, that's the only thing i'm worried about.
