Use the s2000 Antenna
I checked out the tC earlier last week and noticed the antenna base was different than the other Fuba bases. If someone would, try the s2000 or s2000-style antenna. This antenna has a bigger lip, so it should be able to fit the tC's base better than the JDM Short antenna for Fuba bases...

I might just do that! I had the s2k antenna conversion on my old integra, and it looked really clean and offered better reception.
got it from www.locustom.com

AHAHAHA
ahahahahah....My friend owns an IS300 and has the same antenna as the TC. He actually went out and specifically bought an S2K antenna for way too much. Just thought it was funny that some people care so much about their cars they want everything to be perfect.

The antenna I have now for my Accord is broken. I live in San Diego and I'm dissapointed that I can't recieve stations from L.A. like 100.3 the beat and power 105.9 while other car radios can. I have the money now and I'm going to order the antenna... woot.

I don't see anything wrong with what he did.

this is the S2K antenna. i would say that 90% of 7th gen celica owners had them on their car. i had it on my gts and had no problems with radio reception. also, remember tht the 7th gen celica had that long sword of an antenna so that's what brought out the change from owners.
the tC isn't to bad cause it doesn't stick up in the air like a flag pole, its also the same antenna they useon the corolla, matrix and is300.
