vehicle shield protection
#2
Well, as my first post, allow me to be of some assitance. I'm a Sales Consultant for Stewart Toyota in Corsicana, Texas, and just recently we had a meeting w/ the trainer of Gulf States Toyota (the distributor for Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, etc., and this was explained to us. The Vehicle Shield Package is a port installed option (not done at the dealership) which includes a special clear coating process to add extra luster/vibrance to your paint, a bottle of cleaner for the clear coat (should be applied twice a year), and Rental Car Assistance. Basically, if your car is broken down and needs serious work done, Toyota will reimburse you for any rental fees you may assess during that time, for up to, I believe the number is 5 days straight. It's all a matter of how much you care about the shine of your car and help from Toyota as to how worthwhile it is to get. As far as I know, it's all a matter of what your dealerships' distributing port puts on the car as to whether or not it'll be included in the price anyways.

that's cool, come check us out some time, we've got a full service dept. and an in-house body shop. I take it you haven't bought yet, so if you haven't lemme make a suggestion to you, don't buy from Toyota of Dallas, I've heard so many horror stories about them from people that come in.

lol, thank for the advise. I actually first went to metroplex toyota, cause it's the closest, but they were closed on a sunday, so i went to the one in arlington, i'm not sure what they are called, but they seems pretty nice. I plan on buying one either this week or next week,
