Default Vertical Doors = Problems?

So this summer i am planning on getting vertical doors. I have a sponsor from vertical doors inc, which bring the price down 50%. Now, before i invest on these, are there any known problems with the doors? I read on one of the forums that the shocks wear out if you use them as a daily driver. That is bad news for me because i would use them alot. Is that true? Any other problems? Let me know

If you dont mind chasing a sag down every so often. For a daily driver, they will end up sagging on you most likely. For a show car that is hardly driven it is not much of an issue.

And many I have seen SUCK to get in and out of. Again, not much of an issue with a show car, but for your daily driver not the best thing.

You don't always have to lift the door when you open them. There is enough room to get in and out as a daily driver.

My shocks are going out as we speak. Past the six month warranty time. Thats probably the biggest issue with the kit.

They have been known to sag over time, causing them not to close properly. Then you adjust, fix the sag... then wait for it to come back again.. hence chasing the sag.

We have long, heavy doors with power window motors, etc in them. That is why cars with vertical doors are designed with shorter/lighter doors than ours. People put them on cars with longer/heavier doors and have sagging issues.

thats pretty clever

although my favorite kind of vertical door if you wanna call it that is that hinge system on the fastest production car in the world at this time the ccr the way they made it open upright and suck in and down (door almost goes to the floor and barely goes above the roof!) at the same time is pretty sick!
\

my two cents.

That's old news. The CCR only held that record for a short time. It was overtaken by the Bugatti Veyron, and just a couple of months ago another car took the record.

This is the fastest production car in the world...
