when you bring your car into the dealer for rattles, like the hatch rattles, and they have to keep it all day, are they supposed to give you a loaner car being that it is warantee work? or does the warantee work have to be something major in order for that to happen? i have to go back again for rattles and they have to keep it for the whole day and they never offered a loaner car in the past and won't this time so i'm wondering if i should bring it up to them. they have a rental service instead of loaner cars, so should i be getting a free rental?

i think they have a shuttle that takes you home. i dont think theyll give u a loaner if its just for one day and for somthing small like rattles. im not positive though

I got a loaner when they had to fix the rattle in my sunroof.

If the dealer is any good, you should get a loaner. However, you should schedule your app't in advance so a loaner is available.

I believe if they keep your car for warranty work more then 24hours they have to give you a rental car. I think it's posted on one of the signs at toyota or something, at least at my dealer it is. It's also stated on the paperwork. I got a rental once when they did some warranty work on my tC.

They also gave me a loaner when they kept my car for onle 3 hours i _____ed about how their shuttle didnt want to take me home, so they thought giving me a rental car would be better then for their driver to go 5 miles out of his way...O WELL FREE CAR FOR ME
