water on door windows?
I've noticed that after I wash my car or it rains, even if I wait overnight it seems as though the water that gets in the doors still hasn't dried, as it shows up after I roll the window back up--even after about 12 hours or so. Is this normal? I dind't notice it in my other cars..maybe I'm just going nuts

Think about it... The water in the door will take longer to evaporate being that it's in a sheltered area that isnt in the direct heat/rays of the sun. Also the rubber lining of the door that the window goes in, the inside of that is felt, which soaks up the water. Overnight, the humidity can be enough to allow the water to stay in your door, the morning dew doesnt help either.

After washing you car, or major raind open your car door for a second. At the bottem of the door there is a gap that acts as a drain. Let the water drip out and within a couple of hours you should have dry windows. Same as in my camery and 4 runner.

the doors do have drain holes on the bottom...
the felt strip (outside weather stip) should wick away the water and dry out pretty quick...
but with normal use of the window going up and down, it puts dirt in to the weather strip making it hold water longer...(why the driver door does this and not the pass...you use the drivers more than the pass...)

dirty window felt
My window felt on both windows is gettin dirty. I've done quite a bit of searchin on the forums but can't find a way to clean them. Any ideas? This is annoying beyond belief since my windows are all scrood up right after washing it and rolling the windows down, even if they're dry.
