you don't need to wax it, and it can be hard to get the white marks off... particularly around the sideview mirrors and the mud guards. on the other hand, the bumper should be fine everywhere. Turtle Wax makes a specific wax just for those plastic parts that won't leave any residue behind. apparantly it even gets rid of the "white" from other waxes. i'm going to try it sometime soon.

He's not really talking about those black pieces (and yes, those are a PITA to get wax off of). But I don't see why you couldn't wax the bumpers... plastic or not, it still has paint and clearcoat on it.

Though my front bumper is mostly tiny black spots from stone chips anyways, so I don't bother.

yeah they do, its called Turtle Wax ICE. I use it on those kinds of parts as well as touch up between waxing.

You wax the painted bumper just like anything else. Un painted plastic should be avoided, like the black trim mentioned.

By the way, flat paint is the opposite of gloss paint. It just isnt shiny. Matte is a finish that is "rough" to give a different look and reduce glare.

I wax the bumper. As mentioned earlier if its painted and clear coated, it can be waxed.
