well i got back on the mod wagon and i just want to keep some of you guys that care updated, i have lots of plans and as money comes in parts will be added, so im just going to give a quick run down of my 08 SW TC from the first day i got her til now, along with parts added and changed, and maybe afew thoughts on the things i changed and why, so enjoy

day one, 7-23-07


first things first, tein s-tech springs, and cheap ebay grill

also changed the tail lights out and added red flim over the tbl

and installed tow hook...haha

then came the rs1 lip

thanks to some good deals on here, i was able to install the dc header and injen cai right away, also painted the stock vc

then i entered my first show only a month after owning it and took home best tuner

my first set of wheels, 17x8 mb motorsport weapons in bronze, also painted the brake calipers



also notice the hks hi-power exhaust

then it was time for a pulley

then tinted vinyl covers for the markers

installed toyota emblem on the rear


then i traded hatches with 318tc in nov
also installed cf gas lid and s2k ant





then more changes but i dont have alot of pics of the changes due to computer failing on me, but the hatch wasn't the greatest so i traded it off for a bsp one, spoiler and hood along with selling the cheap lip and buying an oem front lip, i also got rid of the wheels and installed the stockies back on, the mb's were way to heavy

then i painted the lip and installed the oem grill back in but with a toyota emblem in the center, this was early jan






shortly after i got rid of the dc header for an alphawerks i scored for cheap on ebay, also added the doc iso rad panel

next was to start on the inside, so i had the interior pieces painted gloss black at a local shop, also added short throw and was the first to install the 05 mustang shift ****, this was late jan



then it was time to get rid of that dealer installed tint and add some 13% all the way around

and 32% on the windshield


then i installed an aem oil cap and batt hold down, also tried polishing the vc and got the blue off the header, next pic of the header you will see it shined back up looking new again

first snow she has seen in feb

then i bought a set of alt rush 362's in 17x8, i loved the look but here again they were heavy and i didnt care for the offset



then someone with a wrx wanted them and traded me for a set of rotas which were nice and light but i hated them, i only rolled on these for about a week before selling them to someone else


i also sold off the injen cai around this time and got the fujita new bronze one as soon as it hit the shelf

also painted the vc to match and the header is now all nice and pretty

also got the weapons back, that was the whole reason i wanted that cai so bad, but i could tell a little lost in sound and throttle it seemed going to the fujita from the injen


next i decided to paint the stock 08 tails cause the euro look was cutting it



next was getting my shiftstyles armrest and shift boot

next on the list was some vinyl eyelids, a megan 2.5 s-pipe, and i found someone to swap out hatches for one without a spoiler, i also got a set of 235/40 17 kdw's



also a set of yellow high beam bulbs

then i sold off the weapons ...again, and pulled apart the headlights and painted the side markers gunmetal since they still dont make a replacement for the 08's


i then did a full led swap, but i only have a pic of the gauges, i just did all blue with clear needles, nothing special here

then came a set of 8000k hid's

and is350 led tag lights

then i got lil wills old seats, heres where i decided no more junk parts, only the best from here on out...haha


then i sold off the fujita and bought the new aem cai in gunmetal, also painted the vc once again, also the header was sold when i thought i was moving, its now replaced with a dme


then i had a custom 2.5 midpipe built with an aero resonator


dme header installed



then was the vrd fogs with yellow bulbs also

and a set of prius center caps


like i said i lost a ton of pics on my computer when it crashed, but these were on host sites so i am able to share them with you, when the weather gets better i will take some better ones,

im currently waiting on my wheels, nitrous and seat delete to arrive, also thinking about going ahead and buying some coilovers now instead of waiting any longer, mods are listed in my profile, and there are alot of little things that i did not list, hopefully one day ill have a car that others love as much as i love some of the great cars i have seen on this site, let me know what you think

just got my exhaust redone today-1/26/09 its a 22" magnaflow muffler connected to a 2.5 18" bullet resonator, all 2.5", sounds so AWESOME on the outside of the car, but vibrates everything inside, im going back in a day or two to have them extend the turn down a little further back

Did you just paint your hatch BSP?
I actually like that. It's a nice alternative to getting a CF one.

Looks good. I see you went from an rs1 front lip to the oem why? Do you stiil have the fujita intake and if so was it hard to install and did the cel come on??

the rs1 just doesn't look that great to me, the oem is much cleaner, i really want a five axis but thats down the road

actually a friend had it and thats how i knew it would work, when i posted it i noticed that others really liked it and stated to do the same, they can be found on ebay or at the dealer, im actaully changing mine out soon to a sweet billet one, i want a little more weight when shifting
