Yeah I know about the focus problem with nikon but so many guys here shoot with them and once you get a great lens it's an awesome camera

yeah. I shoot with a Canon 5d, Canon 24-105 f4 L, Canon 15mm f2.8 fisheye, and a Canon 50mm 1.8 lens.

Love my rig but still need a grip and a flash.

Getting a HOLGA camera next. Cant wait to shoot film again.

DME header with Injen CAI with Megans catback...that would be the best setup with the best gains

but its good that you keep changing things around that how you long which stuff you like...

headers are bad for low end power and don't really add too much high end to justify the purchase. Catback is gonna rob u of back pressure too. So yeah ur low end torque is gonna suffer which is bad considering tC's are only worth anything in a dig.

thats basically the same setup that the crimson tc in the pics on page 13 is running and i walk him everytime on motor.....so im sure its not the best setup. best setup i have had is the aem intake, alphawerks header, megan s-pipe, stock midpipe and hks axleback, i miss that set up a lot.

From what I know, the s-pipe makes a substantial difference for a full IHE setup. Aren't the 4-2-1 headers supposed to give more usable power band? Like mid to low range?

actually a catback might run some low end torue but nothing noticeable..ive talk to people with the megans catback they noticed a difference above 2500 rpm..so if you plaaning on shifting below that then yea it not good for you...all these bolt ons so the car can breathe...you might lose a HP here and there but maybe 1 or two but you wont be dissapoointed..

hnoestly if these bolts on killed performace people wouldnt put them on...

CAI---5-10 hp

Catback- 2-4 hp

header-10-15 hp

downpipe- 10-15hp

these number are not excat but depnding on the car but since were on the tc..it wil make a defference..

4-2-1 header is good through out the power band

4-1 header high end torque

^ Nicely stated

Each setup is unique in its own right.

A lot of people dislike headers because of the nasty rasp associated with them. By the time you buy the headers and get a resonator the costs exceed the extra 10 to 20 hp one would gain from them. That aside I still have Strup headers.

The stock downpipe is very restrictive; swapping to an aftermarket downpipe will increase the air flow and coupled with aftermarket headers the airflow will increase drastically.

As far as cat-back vs axle-back , axle-back does absolutely nothing for performance, it sounds nice. Cat-back while keeping about piping around 2.25" to 2.5" will not lose power but rather increase airflow. Now if you are saying go 2.75" or 3" on a NA then sure you are losing power as there is no pressure being built.

Bolt ons are a nice addition not to mention with weelo's setup its beneficial not to have stock headers.

A stock Tc will slightly grab out of the hole quicker then mine does. But my powerband is anything over 3500. Backpressure is great for torque. But for horsepower an open up exhaust increases power and my setup will love the bottle

weelo-

I'm probably going to get a CF hood or hatch which would you get first?

The hood would be just CF OEM made by Carbon Creations

I had a hatch and to have the glass swapped was over a 100 bucks plus you have to drill holes for all the rear plastic trim and so on. A hood is cheaper and it's just bolt on and go

yeah that's the big reason i haven't gotten the hatch. Don't like the idea of having to drill into anything. I like pieces that just snap in.

I never drilled mine. I only drilled for the harness to stay secured. The guy I sold it to spent almost a full day drilling the rest so it takes some time to do. I like my black hatch better. Basically same look without the hassle

i dont think i have ever actually seen a tC that put the trim in after going CF hatch... just paint the under side body color and call it a day....

Hunner, im glad i got you stuck on Mac!!!!! but sorry you bought sony.... ANYTHING!

and yeah Elijah i right, i hate the fact that the motor is in the lens on my D60, i want a wide angle but for the price i really cant justify it. but i still love my camera. and prefer the size and feel of the bodies over teh cannons my friends have.

hey weelo, i believe earlier you said that you had some slight rubbing in the rear..do you think that by getting coilovers that it would fix the problem? Also, how about the front, can you turn the wheels entirely without rubbing?

The rubbing I'm the rear was from the camber links being set to stock camber and the fenders not being rolled. I pulled the hotchkis links off and in now running a degree or two of camber and it's fine the front do not rub at all not sure about when I go lower on coilovers. My guest is I'll still be good

My 05 mustang shiftknob broke today! The silver part broke off so I went ahead and ordered a billet **** from upr. It's a company that makes parts for mustangs and since I was the first with a mustang **** it wouldn't feel right to go away from that. I'm removing my rear seat delete today so I'll have a couple of pics of the new bottle location
