The seat backs from the rear seats are pretty hefty. Then my Corbeaus were 12lbs lighter than the stock seats, each. It all adds up pretty quickly.

Cool! Thanks. Stupid question but could you feel any difference with 85 lbs trimmed off? I am trying to figure out the point where enough weight shed actually equates into better performance/mileage/etc!

Yeah, that is a rule of thumb in drag racing.
And with my car gutted from the driver seats back, I actually felt a difference. had to lower the coils more to adjust things to where it handled better.

Now that's true. I'm tryn to loss another 50 lbs. That would make 100lbs. And I want to do a rear seat delete maybe. So it might sound stupid but loading weight on a person makes a differance. Us fat guys have it ruff

Is there really that much weight back there to raise the car that much. That's crazy. It probally looks alittle goofy
