i still want to see pics of the rear of trds car...

i can't imagine that much weight coming out the back... thats like one fat kid getting out the back of the car...

i have no idea. lol
im putting it all back together atm.
but at its lightest point i think i had.

no stock sound deadening.
no back seat.
no interior side panels.
no headliner.
no pillars.
no stock seatbelts.
no center console.
no dash.
no heater core.
no exhaust.
no pass. seat

lol, it was basically just a driver seat and harness.

I did have everything in the rear gutted from my tC, but decided to place it all back. I feel that removing all that weight from the rear of the car upsets the overall balance, unless your gutting the rear section of your tC and relocating the battery to the back.

well i do assume the OP has his motor in his car.

and most of the weight is also in the front of the car to begin with, with that engine of ours..

yeah.. the weight balance would certainly be very off if everything was removed from the rear.. relocation of the battery would help, but you'd need to do a lot more as well.

idk what rims your running but rotational mass is the enemy.

im steril now.

the underdrive and alternator will gain performance as well as a few lbs like $200
cheaper than the cf hatch.

hmm.. are you leaving the glass roof? that's a large chunk of weight too.. i mean you've pretty much torn everything else out.

sunroof assemblies and glass roof would def be the best thing to take off.
that much weight that high up sucks.
