Depending where you drive, you can be surprised how much dirt/crud that builds up on the underbody. A good soak then rinse and you'll be back in business.

But I'm doing the opposite; adding weight. New hitch is on the way for my bike rack(ohh yes....i did).

kinda defeats the purpose in my opinion.
anyone can push the gas and brake pedal while steering.
but whatever floats your boat.

doesnt weight modification crap change your class for Autoxing?

Thats the Kaminari race roof.

Some pictures of the build of that car. http://www.motoiq.com/Projects/Proje...3/Default.aspx

I know what that car weighs, and its not that light. There would still be areas to lose weight in the car, but the rules for the series the car runs in don't necessarily allow some of those parts. Carbon hood, carbon roof, carbon trunk lid. Stock front, rear, and side glass. Stock doors cut out.

auto trans is heavier than the 5 speed, yes.

Also in an auto first gear runs runs to 40 mph, however for auto-x id keep it in second. 70 mph redline, plus your not gonna spin tire if you ease into it. First gear is just stupid even if you ease into it. Still spins and you loose a lot of time.
