could i see a breakdown of this price? thats really cheap also.
I didn't have to pay tax :-) .Traded in a car worth far more than the price of the tc.

Other than that, the car was $18,165.18 (including the $699 Toyoguard protection warranty and $145 for the floormats [I was only charged $300 for the auto trans, not $800])
Documentation fees $299.50
MVWEA (new vehicle fee) $2.00
Florida Tire/Battery fee $6.50
Plate transfer fee $75.00
The lifetime powertrain warranty was also free, offered through Ft. Myers Scion. They give a free lifetime powertrain warranty with every new vehicle.

Am I reading this correct? So they gave you just over $1600 for the car you traded in that is worth far more than the price of the tC :?: It doesn't sound like much of a deal anymore.

Default some of these prices are wack

I work @ a Scion dealer in chicago, and every dealership is supossed to sell the cars for the exact same price (5-Speed: $16,465/ Auto: $17,265). Every dealership had to sign a contract to be allowed to sell scions and part of that contract was that they could not mark up the cars at all. Your out the door price will obviously be more than the figures I gave, because of taxes, accessories and doc. fees, but if you look at your buyer's order and the first line "price of vehicle" says anything other than the #'s I just posted, you got screwed, and you should call Toyota and report the dealership.

My sticker price is $17,315 but I think that's because I live in the SE? More for shipping but I really don't know why?

But it is possible to pay below sticker correct? And also this doesn't apply to the APR. What's the lowest APR they can give if you have perfect credit? They don't have a set rate do they?

That's before the $565 delivery and processing fee, but I thought the auto transmission was an extra $800???

I got the General Manager's name on it...so they gave me an APR of 0.99% and I put down $3600 for it...so I am paying around $255 a month for 60 months. I also get a discounted Extended Warranty.

APR of 0.99% wow, thats incredible. so i'm guessing there is no set limit for how low you can go with APR? i guess the dealer was lying to me when he told me he's not allowed to give me a lower APR??

Well my bonestock tC was supposed to be around $18,200 OTD (my parent's government discount takes of dealer processing ^_^). But after checking the Scion site again, they seem to have lowered MSRP from $16,100 or so. :?:

So cauculating everything it should be around....

$15,950 - MSRP
$1116.50 - 7% sales tax
$659 - Documentation
$200 - new plates
And we have the processing discount ($585)
$35 - registration

$17,960.50 - estimated total cost OTD ^_^
