so yea, great first car for me. im fully satisfied for now.. but one day i will move up to bigger and better things ;)
what happened with Toyota??

also i agree with one day moving up (tc is a great 20s car) but i dont see myself going to anyone else. When i decide to go up im going Lexus. I miss my old lexus

Wanted a coupe, mustangs are overrated and hondas are way to common so went with the TC plus my sister in law has one and loves it. great car so far.

Since every other branch posted i guess i will.

I am a Hospital Corpsman in the USN.
i had my tC before i joined the navy. At the time i was doing demolition

i have always been a Toyota fan and it is just what i wanted i guess. i saw an automatic RS2 on the lot and asked them to find me a 5spd and a week later it was sitting there.

Got my BS in Chemical Engineering at UF, now working for a company.

The tC was a high school graduation gift from my parents. Initially we were looking at the Corolla or Camry, but when they saw this car and the price they couldn't believe their eyes at what they were getting. Great bang for the buck and really great looking car, especially since there weren't many back in 05.

Still lovin' it at 82k miles, and now that I have a job gonna start putting some money in it

i thought we had one of these threads before but ehh im bored. i work as a busines analyst in the IT dept of a large agricultural company after doing everything from catering/restaraunts, life insurance, factory jobs, detasseling, ect....

bought the tc because its cheap, cheaper to mod than most cars and its what i could afford at the time due to mortgage payment and student loans (27 and 13 years left on them) just glad the tc will be paid off next spring

Bought my tC when I dropped out of college and started work full time haha. It was economical and looked good - which was all I cared about at the time - I thought I was done with going fast haha. As for what I do, I work for Dell as a Enterprise storage analyst. Ive been here almost 4 1/2 years now. My tc was paid off a few months ago, and Ive prob spent more money building it than I spent on the car (Paid $18k for it brand new in 07). I also own a 2008 Tundra SR5 Double Cab which is my daily driver.

-I currently work as a prop player in a card room-
-I also do photography and car repair/maintenance on the side-

-why did i pick scion, i had a 04 honda civic before, but that ended abruptly. didn't like the new look of the 06 civic, my friend had a tc, looked nice, basically got it because of all the features it had for its price, (17800 with nothing on it, bone stock). still a lot of love for the car, also still room for a few more mods when money allows-

lol......Gotta say, there is no specific Tc type.....Glad to see a variety, from what I see there is one thing in common, Tc price, reliability and available parts for modding....Just wish there were unique mods that i could think of to make mine unique......well...asunique as possible anyway...

I chose a tc really cause my old beater 95 corolla blew up and I found the tc for a deal. I wasn't into cars much then but this car and this website changed that. It's a good daily, gets me to work and school and it'll last, but I am saving for something fun. I wanna do an rb25(or 26) swap on a 240sx. So my tc will be my daily, 240 will be my fun car.
hahaha that my same exact story expect going recon and being a waiter semper fi devil 240sx are perfect for drifting
