RS = Release Series. You will know when you have one when there is a number plate tagged on the dash.

Read this on the History of the tC. In the body you will see links to the RS versions:

IMO besides the benefit of having a cool red paint job, the latest RS tC is the best bang for the buck, it came with quite a few extras and looked sweet as heck

Do people not use google? Or search for themselves? Or anything?

And you guys have to remember, there are plenty of people out there who have no idea about any sort of culture around Scions (and don't care, likely)... so they see a pretty red one or blue one or white one and just want that color. They think the rest of the stuff is just options.

cars to alot of people are just transportation, I think only a small percent care about their car or go further after the purchase of it and mod it.

NO. The R.S series have a specific color each year. Azure Blue is not a R.S car color.

They will have an rs number placard on the car. They only make so many of each one.

Dont get confused either with "limited edition" tc's, which do not exist and are dealer gimmicks to make you think you have a special car. They are simply tCs with options thrown in and a generic limited edition badge the dealer probably got off of ebay. They are worth no more (Actually less with aftermarket parts as far as most consumers are concerned) money than a stock tC.
