ANT10?

On the xB the chassis code is NCP31. The xB comes with a 1NZFE engine. My theory is that N stands for the N-family engines (NZFE). So A refers to the A family engine (2AZFE for the tC). The xA, echo, vitz, Opa have an N as well but with a different chassis code.

NT10? not sure about that. Maybe 10 is the first series of that chassis. Like xB is the third series from the N family chassis. And 1 because it uses the 1NZFE? xA/ist is NCP61, so sixth series.? :?

The JDM Avensis is AZT250 for the Li and Li Sport package. It uses the 2L 1AZFSE engine.

The JDM Camry 4-cyl is ACV30 or ACV35. Uses the 2AZFE engine. The V6 Variant is MCV30 for the 1MZFE engine.

The JDM Rav4J with the 1.8L 1ZZFE (USDM Corolla/Matrix) code is ZCA26W. But the same Rav4J but with the 1AZFE engine has the code: ACA20W or 21W.

The Prius has the code:NHW20. N for the 1NZFXE, H for hybrid. The Estima and Alphard hybrid variants have the H as well. Alphard Hybrid: ATH10W (2AZFXE) Estima Hybrid: AHR10W (2AZFXE).

The JDM 3L Aristo (GS) code is JZS161 for the 2JZGTE engine.

AE86= Corolla GTS/ Levin Trueno. It used the 4AGE or 5AGE engines (I think). So it's part of the "A" family of engines except the engine uses those circular air filters (carburetors(?)). So modern toyotas needed an extra letter to keep it seperate from the older engines (?). :?

i really cant see the tC as being a replacement for the Celica. IMO... they seem to be in 2 separate classes. I can, however, see Toyota making the next celica more feature rich like the tC... or maybe its wishful thinking.
the tC is the celica chassis, that's why Toyota discontinued the Celicas because the tC replaced it.
