^ Duh! The point in asking was to find out whether english was his 2nd language, or if he was giving advice when he knew nothing of the subject, or "racket" was intended humor (rack & pinion making noise, a "racket")...but you blew it.

Alright heres the verdict, got my brakes n all that ____ done but the tech told me he thinks its a steering rack problem because they greased up the whole front end and the place i brought it to doesnt do that kind of work. So my question is now, what kind of problems and money am I looking at if its steering rack related?? I have no idea what a steering rack is or no knowledge in it at all

from the noise i hear it sounds like your outer tie rods or your lower ball joints have lost the grease in them. You hear that noise alot on ford's. First step would be get a grease gun and a needle point attachment and lube up the outer tie rods and drive for abit and see if it gets better, then do it the same with the lower ball joints..

Honestly, my tC made a similar noise about a year I guess after I had installed my TEIN lowering springs. I searched for some huge problem, but it was just my strut tower bolts came loose, and my strut tower was twisting and torquing in the hole. May not be your problem, but you can check.
