lol i get them too. there was a study that i read somewhere, on how birds tend to poop on clean cars and/or light colored cars a lot more. so far it seems to be true, i tried not cleaning my car for 2 weeks, and no spots or bird crap. then yesterday, cleaned the car, and there they were.

Yellow spots have shown up on my car too (I'm from NE Ohio). No idea what causes it, though they havent shown up since I have moved and now have my car in a garage spot.
My vote--aliens.
And birds are attracted to shiny objects, but hate mirrors. The fun experiment would to put a mirror face up on your driveway on a bright day, and see if it garners bird crap

The strange thing about the bird poop is that my girlfriend and I both have TC's......and we both park right next to each other in our driveway.....I have a bsp tc and hardly ever get bird poop...she has a azure pearl tc and the birds bombard her car with poop....Crazy.....

i'm in the east coast in SC and i get the little yellow spots as well. not many but they are there every now and then. I'm about 25 miles from the airport. i very rarely see airplanes flying overhead unless they are from Shaw Air Force Base and in that case they are fighter jets

But sap is sticky. I've had tree sap too and it's pretty darn hard to get off after it dries. It becomes hard and forms a raised shape. However, the mysterious yellow dots are brighter in color and flat on the surface. They also come off easily. I am inclined to go with the aircraft theory.
