Mine is about 25,000...i have not visited dealer's service department yet. What's yours and how much you have paid for maintenance so far?

just shy of 18k miles...no maintenance costs beyond oil changes.

Gotcha beat, Stu! Whatta lightweight! LOL
I just got my 40,000 checkup yesterday at Younger Scion in Hagerstown, MD.
Bought my silver tC at Fitzgerald in Chambersburg, PA last July 17th -- but they're too far away for service since I live in Hagerstown.

As expected since I bought a Toyota-designed car, I've had NO major problems at all. Even for an automatic, it has great acceleration.

Ummm... I just got my first warning ticket from the local sheriff last weekend. Oops!

Compared to other dealerships, Younger has excellent prices on service trips. My regular checkup (oil change and tire rotation) only costs me $41.90. Except for some minor problems at my last checkup (they forgot to fully replace my oil billet cap - messy!), they're fine.

You're taking a big chance of messing up getting warranty repairs, if you need any. You may have to show proof that you got required maintenance actions performed.
I'm not sure if just showing receipts for the stuff you've bought will count.

Only if the suspected cause of the issue is poor maintenance. They cant deny you warranty on brake failure because they say you didnt change your oil for example.

I am sitting at 14.5k. Had my tC since October. I have let the dealer change the oil once, and I have changed it the other three times. I will probably let them change it again a few times to use up my "free" changes I guess.
