Default WHY MEE!!!!(UPDATED WITH PICS!!!!!! :()

updates of what happend : PICS

i cant even make sense of HOW this happened....

Hey guys,

so.... last night there was some HEAVY wind and HEAVY rain... i woke up this morning and noticed the front of my hood was SCRATCHED up like someone took a tree branch and was rubbing it against my hood.... my frontbumper also got banged up pretty bad...

so what should i do?
take it to the dealership and pay for the repairs at their body shop
FIND some sorta body shop (im in Brooklyn, NY)
speak to an insurance agent and see if they can do anything about it (which i doubt)
OR just buy a carbon fiber hood and buffer the front bumper...

I NEED HELP GUYS my day is just going terrible

thanks
OH and ill post pictures up of it as soon as the sun goes up my poor baby is parked out there all banged up..

depending on how deep or big the scratches are, you MIGHT be able to fix it on your own?

the scratches look like they can be buffered out, but i really dont wanna risk it.. i want it done professionally and the only way i think that can happen is by taking it to my dealership

depends on what kind of insurance coverages do you have?....with comp coverage they should be able to cover it but other than that if the scratches arnt that deep you can buffer them out

Try buffing it or take it to a body shop and see if the think it will come out.

Turn it in on your insurance, take the insurance money to go towards a CF hood and bumper if that is what you want. This will give you an excuse to do it.

well it should be covered under comp....do you know what your deductible is? just go to a local body shop and ask for an estamate on how much it would cost. comp coverage should cover you against anything that was not collision(for example falling objects)

just remember that insurance companys always pay attention to your claims, even when your innocent it may add up in your future. With my damages (not my fault) it is better for me to pay out of pocket. But on the bright side, this may be a good reason to start your exterior mods!!! Good luck man and i hope it gets worked out quickly for ya!

If it was outside your house your home owners ins. may cover it and it may be a smaller deductible.

If the scratches can be caught by a fingernail, then forget about buffing the out, try Scratch X works like a charm.
