Also the US should have some updated stats which are all publicly available on the web. The DOT should have some numbers posted

Man I live in Virginia, and I have dodged too many accidents. I drove my friends dad's car in Florida and that was hell. More than defensive driving, you have to like show the guy behind/in front/side to side of you that you are going to kill him if he dosn't move. But in Virginia EVERYONE knows that there is fast lane, and people accelerate up/down/around hills. I love it here, the suburbs of D.C are the ____.

in reply to highvoltage, I know what you mean. It sucks when I have to be constantly be going back and forth between the left lane and the other lanes just because people don't freakin move. I know that doesnt sound "safe" but Im not an @ss to other drivers about it either.

Reminds me of one time when some old lady almost hit me. To make the story short. I would not let her say anything, she kept trying to say sorry and i kept interrupting with comments like you are the reason why people die in accidents. I think i made her cry. Oh and she was talking on a cell while backing up.

AH I know how you feel.. I live in miami.. ITS HORRIBLE!! I cant wait to leave this place. So far 3 minor dents on the side of my car due to people opening their doors to close to me, and I park VERY FAR. Miami drivers are horrible. PERIOD!
