Wind Noise
All of a sudden I am getting a lot of wind noise (whistling) when I am at highway speeds. Sounds like it is coming from the sunroof, but it looks flush and sealed. Has anyone elese had this issue? Never had the issue before it is a 2007 and I bought it new late in 06 new.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Open the sunroof 1/2 way and using a damp cloth clean off the weather seal. Use a damp cloth to clean the underside of the edges of the glass. I also found that the weather seal at the front of the sunroof at the wind diflector wasn't seating right and I had to leave the sunroof open on a warm sunny day to allow the seal to relax enough to seal correctly when the sunroof closes. Check the top edge of your door seals too and wash them down with a damp cloth.

You probably didnt HAVE to replace it indy Cleaning the tracks and forcing a reset on it most likely would have done it.
For the noise, or not shutting all the way, of course clean the tracks and seals and then disconnect the battery. Re-connect and perform the initialization on the sunroof. It will reset how far it shuts and possibly fix your issue.

^^ actually no.. your dealer is wrong (again, a dealer giving out false facts). Into the mid 06 tC model year the sunroof was changed to a new part. From 05 to mid 06 is the older model that had the problems of wind noise.
If from mid 06+ the noise is there, try some DRY silicone spray (not wet, there are two different kinds) from 3M. You can find it at NAPA. Dry silicone soaks into the rubber where wet does not it just wipes off again. Get some of that, and watch your seals work fine, no more noise. as long as you're mid 06+ model year. Otherwise the other comments about resetting the sunroof apply.

I learned it because mine stopped closing all the way, causing a lot of wind noise And initializing does nothing unless it needs it aka the battery has been disconnected. I removed the glass before figuring it out Of course, that only takes about 10 minutes to do.. but still one of those doh moments.

Its in your manual along with your window initialization procedure ... but, open the sunroof about 1/4 of the way, and close it, holding the button down after it is closed. You will hear it click and/or move the sunroof again to initialize its closed setting.
