Default Window Problems

O.k. I recently put a TWM SS in my tC, for this I disconnected the battery, and had my sunroof open and both windows down. Well when I finished I connected the battery and my windows wouldn't work. I got the sunroof closed buy oushing the close button and pushed it by had so motors do work and there is power going to it. Now that the sunroof is closed it won't open at all. The pass. window only goes up and down with the pass controls but doesn't have the auto up or down you have to hold the switch down or up. The pass window doesn't work at all with the driver side controls. And the driver side window goes up and down but also doesn't have the auto control working. I check all fuses and they're all fine. Any other idea why my windows won't work?

put the window down, then hold the up button till the window closes, continue to hold till the button stops flashing

yup. everytime you unplug your battery, you're going to have to reset them.
for the windows, just close them, and then hold the switch up for like five seconds. same for the sunroof. just close it. then hold the close button for five seconds. then you should be all good to go

The op and I disconnected tge battery because we were also messing with the system.

Question....

My left my keys in the ignition clicked to the on position for 4 days.
Needless to say. He the car was dead.
After I jumped it. Then left it run for a minute.
I get in and wind down my windows. Well the drivers side window. Would not go down auto. And the passenger side would not go down. But if use the passeger saide button it will go up and down. Along with ny sunroof. I have to hold the button in for 5 seconds for it to do anything.
Let me know if there is anything else I can do

sounds like the main controller on the drivers side still needs to be reset. id try holding both the drivers side window buttons up for about 10 secs. then retry. if that doesnt work i would probably disconnect the battery. take pos and neg terminals off amd touch the two together. to get rid of the memory. reconnect them again and try the reset process over again.
let me know

Any resolution? Long story short, my car's been down two years on a built motor/turbo journey. It's running now, and everything works except the driver's and passenger side windows. Sunroof is fine. Checked fuse, did the 10 second thing, and everything. Any suggestions?

when the drivers side switch is blinking, hold it down, then the passenger side should start blinking, hold that one down and the one on the passenger door. might have to mess with it for a bit but im pretty sure you have to hold them both down at some point when resetting the windows. at least thats what i remember from mine.

No blinking lights. I've reset my windows plenty of times doing that. This is something different.
