Yes, it's another fix for a squeaky radio door. Oddly, though, it has nothing to do with the radio door. It has to do with the small pins above the door.
They are free to move around their hole and make squeaking noises. I just plopped some bearing grease over and around them and presto! No more squeaks!

Sorry for the crappy pix. My digicam is kia and all I have is my phone.

i got my radio cover door replaced under warranty and it seems very sturdy now. no squeaks ever since. the door even looks different than before. i also replaced my driver's seat track cuz it was squeaking like crazy too whenever i would go over bumps but now, it's really stiff and not a single squeak yet. but the pictures man, i don't think anyone can see what's going on though.

Yeah, i know, the pictures suck. Looking at the top pic, the pin that is circled is just above the radio door where is starts to slope back.
If anyone were to look at the back of the center console and line up the pic by the radio door and the large tab on the side that locks the console in place on the care, I think they should be able to figure it out. And maybe take better pictures.
The dealer wouldn't replace the door because of my Kenwood deck.

I found the same problem with mine. instead of using grease on the pind I put a piece of electrical tape over the hole an punched the pin through it. I havent heard a squeak from it in months.
