I got my tC on Feb 13, 2006. Was a Valentine's Day present from my boyfriend who made the down payment, '06 fully loaded Flint Mica.

When I got home, the first thing I did was sign up on SL and started SEARCH. Looked at what people were doing exterior wise, and didn't see much but debadged grille and smoke overlays so I bought some sidemarker and redout overlays from bluebat, a stubby antenna, and a used lower grille. Week later I had my lower grille, and was one of the first with a OEM lower grille mod.

My first big purchases were lowering springs from Showstoppers and a wheel package from DiscountTire.

Everything was installed at the same time a couple weeks later by a local shop.

Everything was going great, until a raccoon committed suicide by car. His head hit at 60mph right on the driver's side bumper and cracked the lower vent. Now to find something to cover it up...

I also looked into an exhaust, at the time there were not many. I just settled with the TRD and still rocking it!

Next mod was the Injen CAI from Showstoppers. We installed this ourselves, and it took a couple hours. I learned since then to not include my boyfriend, because he has no patience. Sorry babe!

I attended my first show, Scion Exposed and that's when it hit me...I must learn more about modding/customizing and do everything, or as much as I can, myself aka DIY FTW!

So I started trying to make my tC different and added some chrome door handles, Anzo LED tails with dark smoke overlays, and started learning how to work a rattle can. Painted the speedo silver, and engine cover. Door handle overlays, and aluminum door sills:

Now quite a few people were sporting the OEM debadged grille, so I bought an RS2, but had trouble finding the lower one so later I switched to VRD

Before the VRDs came out, there were the ebay fogs. Since they were big enough to cover up the crack in my vent, I went with those. Too chromey so I used lens paint and smoked them. Also some yellow bulbs:

After being given crap from a Trooper for my tail light film, and having him peel half of it off, I sprayed them. Light smoke and dark on bottom:

Also got the SS air diversion panel to finish out the color theme in the engine. So this was my car in '07:

2008 mods

I got tired of the silver and decided to start changing it up. Went with orange/gold and painted the calipers with G2:

I just love the new 08 lights. After searching around I was able to buy a pair for $99 shipped! Also bought some 6000k HIDs for them from 3BSpec:

Front still looked kinda boring, so I bought some titanium VRDs:

The rear I'm still debating on how I would like to go. So far, I bought the VRD tbl, CF hatch garnish, and cf license plate frame:

Now, for some reason I am on this carbon fiber addiction. I went two years ignoring it lol, but it has resurfaced. I am hoping they make the RS1 one piece rear in CF, until then the car will never be finished!

RS1 carbon fiber front lip with retractable license plate holder, and weathertech wind deflectors:

My wheels have been through so much. I actually used my car during 06-07 for fishing and you wouldn't believe some of the places I took my car So of course the lip was all messed up from potholes and rock chips, but I have never curbed a wheel! So on my vacation last month, I decided to paint the wheels and do a little pinstripe:

finished!

again with the carbon fiber, I bought some 11x8 sheets and cut out my own dash kit. Yup it's real

Bought a Seibon VSII hood from another SL member and it took some work, but I got it to shine again! Also added a little something with the RS2 grille in the vent:

shiny!

Bought some leather seat covers from ebay for $150. Thinking they were just generic covers not KATZKINS! I got a really good deal, and went to work on my seats. Removed the bench and upholstered that first, then the rears and finally the fronts. Took me a total of 4 days and yes I did it all by myself.

So this is my car right now:

a spark plug went .. too much fuel was getting dumped into the cylinder which made it hydrolock and his heat shield melted in the back which eventually caught on fire... thats just making it short and simple we managed to strip the car though, turbo is still good and a bunch of other crap.
