Default 08 tC suspension question

Does any1 know if the 08 tC suspension is the same as the 07? Im trying to buy Tein S techs but all stores say they are for like 2005-2007. Anyone know if the springs are the same and that if they will fit? Or r they coming out ith different ones for the 08?

They should fit. They did change some things on the 'o8 tC but the suspension wasn't one of them.

I'd bet most stores just haven't updated their listings yet to include an 08 model. Like the other two said, they should be just fine.

Well that all depends but yes, people seem to be throwing those things out like cigarette butts.

Default Alignment question

I just swapped the springs, struts/shocks and rear sway bar with all new TRD on my daughters '08 TC. 30 miles on the chassis, didn't need more than one shop towel for the whole job.

Rides nice, but the bigger question is how long should I wait before a new alignment?

I talked to a few shops I am interested in doing my 08 and they said 2 weeks to a month......it gives the springs time to set into the new placement and then they can adjust it to last..........the Month was fro the Hotchkis drop......that shop manager did his 07 tC on the Hotchkis and it looks great.......low,but with a bit of room left.....

I have never heard of that in my life! If you trust those people who told you that, that is up to you, but you should consider if you do not align the car for up to a month, that will be a lot of uneven wear on your tires, especially if you do a lot of driving.

Once you have your car aligned, you can always get it re-checked again if you feel concerned about it.

i personally think alignment is only necessary if you were to slam your ride. i love how my integra handles with just 1.5" drop without camber kit. the -1 degree camber keeps my car more stable and i do not have uneven tire wear.

If you throw the S-techs on a tC i'd get it aligned it drops pretty considerably, plus i've had them in for over two years(1 year it was just sitting in storage) and this past week the one corner just settled like another inch, so yeah they will settle and will prob require at least on alignment

i would drive no more than 2 weeks without getting an alignment....

gives the suspension plenty of time to settle
