you do not need a camber kit or camber links or whatever for a 2" drop. if the shop you took it to says they can't fix your negative camber then go somewhere else.

"The double-wishbone rear suspension has camber adjustment but over the TRD springs drop of 1.5" will require more camber adjustment. Hotchkis and another company makes replacement REAR UPPER CONTROL ARM ASSEMBLY. Anything over 1.5" requires the adjustable rear links. The front will be perfect with just a slight negative camber (good for cornering) that does not cause any uneven wear. 2.0" drop or better will require front camber adjustment bolts offered by the same companies."

as i was told: my front is off by 0.5 degree.. cant be fixed unless i get a camber kit.

i was at toyota.. and i tried another 5 different garage.. 4 of them sent me away because my car is too low, they dont even want to try to do my alignment...

my rear is in spec too.. except the right side because the camber bolt is bad.. keep spinning, so i need that replaced but toyota quoted me $190...........

at the front.. i got 0.5 degree (both sides) .. not too much but still.. as long as my car eating the tires in 15 k's... i want my alignment to be perfect.. so i need front camber kits

i'm fully dumped on H&R coilovers 3.0" F / 2.5" R, i got one alignment and i'm fine, just make sure your toe is in spec. if your numbers are all in spec after the alignment and you still eat up tires, get better tires =P

I am on TRD springs and the dealer said they aligned all the wheels except the driver side wheel so that is sitting at -2 degrees. Gonna get camber bolt installed on that..dealer charging me 90 bucks...is that decent price? this is with the alignment and stuff

our rear camber is slightly adjustable, I got aligned last week, my rear camber is still a tiny tiny bit off so depending on how off your camber is you may or may not need a kit

they probably used shims. which i would rather use the camber links cus its more permanent.

You should see my old tires. Stechs + no camber kit = destroyed tires.

How I drive has nothing at all to do with the camber wear on my tires.

I am on Stechs and have wore out the factory tires and I wore out my inside of my new tires in a years time. I went to get it aligned and he said that there wasnt much he could do to the rear without camber links. I ordered SPC camber arms from wesellcarparts.com and now I have 0 neg camber. I need to go get the car aligned so I can put about .5 deg of negative camber

sorry dave but u are incorrect. the rears have eccentrics on the upper control arm that adjusts the camber to a point. (meant for the stock height). it is at the end of the upper control arm that bolts to the frame. unbolt the back side bolt and use a wrench to turn the eccentric cam bolt for camber adjustment. of course u won't be able to see what ur adjusting without the use of an alignment rack. i'm on s-techs and both sides are slightly off. even at the highest point of adjustment on the eccentric cam bolt it gets near within specs but not actually into specs yet its right on the border.

yes, negative camber will wear tires out but very slowly. now with toe out, if it is bad enough ur tires could be gone within a few hundred miles.

odd, every tech i talked to said it wasnt adjustable. looks like its time to smash some skulls...

"no camber kit"

I was refering to not adjusting the camber back to specs, lol. If I remember, I'll get a picture of the wear tonight.
