I already gave a little input... but I'll be a bit more specific...

Coilovers: H&R ~$1200ish?
Sway Bars: Hotchkis (front/rear) ~$250
Strut Bar: choice on looks - not necessary really, but looks nice and might as well complete the setup ~ $125

That's probably what I would do if I had the $$. I have part of that setup now and love it. But we'll let other's put in their input too.

I'd probably pass on the camber kit unless you're really knowledgeable and plan on adjusting it yourself. Otherwise it won't really be necessary in order to remain in spec.

of course, nobody mentioned light-weight wheels and tires, which is arguably more important and more noticeable than any suspension modification you can do

I'd get a set of 17x8.5 +48mm wheels with a nice sticky tire in a 245 width, tire&wheel combo should cost you about $1300-$1500

a set of coilovers of your choosing for about $1000

Hotchkis front&rear sway bars about $300

and installation of all of the above wheels&tires=$100(including tire mount) coilovers=$200 Hotchkis sways=$200

Total=$3300

you may even be able to get some good deals, or if you know what your doing install it all yourself (which it doesn't seem like you know what you're doing from your wording, but I could be wrong)

with this setup, your lateral traction will be enough to throw you out the window, your body-roll will be minimized a very large amount, and you can adjust the coilovers and sway bars to suit the needs of your "racing"

what were you going to race it in exactly? Street Racing? Track Days? Autocross? Closed Drag Racing?

Also, if you're going to be really racing the car, a camber kit comes in handy, makes it much easier to adjust your alignment settings when you take the car racing and adjust settings for the best times.

street racing is ____, Mkay?

now that that's out of the way, you're looking to spend the money in the wrong place if all you're doing is illegally going in a straight line with other people who think they're fast too

blow the three grand on a turbo kit, then sell the car when you blow up the engine from not knowing what you're doing properly and be done with it all. Everyone else is doing it.

of course, you could take the advise I said above and take it LEGALLY to a drag strip OR if you really want to actually drive the car and not do something a 4 year old can do, take it to an autocross event

Use the money to join SCCA, NASA, or attend an open track day at your local drag strip or road course. Educate yourself and become a better driver before your begin dumping money into your car.

just get the treadstone turbo kit if you want power. for handling, go with either tein ssp, front and rear strut bar and brace, ingalls stiffy, and front and rear sways and you are set.

p.s. also, dont do anything stupid that would hurt you, or someone else because it is not something that should be taken lightly. you should see what people have done and/or people have been done to because of street racing. if you do it, just be careful.

is the Car paid off? if it's not, I'd say put the money toward that. would seem to be more productive that way, imo.

you got lots of options
strut bar+coilovers+sway bar?
or get some new rims, HID, new racing seats, steering wheel, or some secondary mods?
or some new brakes?
man you got lots of options
