Default Advise For Buying a Front Strut Bar

Hey guys, I am really interesting in getting a strut bar for my tC and I did a lot of researching (especially on this site). However, I wanted more opinions. Here's a list of the available strut bars I'm interested in:

Hotchkis
GReddy
Tanabe
DC Sports
Cusco

My question is which one would people who already have Strut Bars recommend? I know that a lot of people say that it is useless but a lot say they can feel the difference when driving at a high speed. Please do not recommend me to by a sway bar or etc. as I already have it. It would be nice if you guys could reply to this post with the brand of the strut bar you have and if you notice a difference or not. Also could you let me know if you jacked your car for the installation of it? Thanks!!!

PS - For people with the DC Sports strut bar. I have read that a lot of people with this bar have a noise at idle cause by it's touching of the intake wire. I know that DC Sports have a new version of it that's why it use to be $90 in most stores but now is around $130 (spoke with a representative at drivewire.com). Could you tell me where and when you brought it and if you have this problem since I really want the DC strut bar with out the noise or installing a new intake!!!

Actually anyone can list their strut bar and the cost and where they got it from SHIPPED.

Edit***
Could you guys also they me if there's any rattling coming from your strut bar? I like to keep my car as quiet as possible

I have the DC Sports Strut bar.... I baught it a long time ago and I dont have a problem with it hitting any intake wire. No vibrations at all. Its a good cheap mod, I'm sure you'll be happy with whatever brand you choose.

I too have the DC sports unit, but I can't really comment on the intake deal because I have an Injen cold air. The DC pretty much looked nicest to me. Showstoppersusa.com will have it shipped to you for $89, you can't beat that. I haven't noticed any real difference in the driving experience, but I wasn't expecting anything so it was fine. The only thing is, if you're going to put on a new engine cover or something, do that before this bar. It'll have to come off every time you want to get off the plastic engine cover without scratching it.

The DC is the most sturdy and durable. I had the problem where it hit against the intake. All I did, is just losened the screw at the intake and rotated it a few degrees and that problem is solved. It is the biggest, but also going to do the most

I bought greddy strut bars and hotchkis sways....

I put the greddys on first to see if there was any difference from stock, and it only felt a tiny bit more stiff. I was really DISSAPOINTED! then i put on my Hotchkis sways and the tC actually handled!!!! The hotchkis are the best part i have put on besides my tein springs! DONT WASTE YOUR CASH ON BLING BLING STRUT BARS!!!!

sorry not trying to threadjack or bash on you guys..

All I would say is look into Ingalls. www.ingallseng.com
Ingalls is offering products that NOT one other company is making. The rear strut bar will do more for you than any front bar you could buy today. The Tc is almost like a drop top due to the moon roof. When you loose rigidiy (sp) due to the roof not being solid, any bar you can get to tie the vehicle and suspension together will be of great benefit. Ingalls is also working on a 3 point front strut bar with integrated "Stiffy" mount
