Alignment is out - is now good time to install springs?
So I took notice over the past few days that my alignment is a little off. I've been meaning to drop my car for some time now and I figured this would be the perfect opportunity but wasn't quite sure.
My questions are:
1. Is now a good time to get the springs installed since after they are installed and settle, the car would need to be realigned anyway?
2. If I get the springs installed on my car which is currently out of alignment, would this effect the way the springs settle or hurt the suspension in anyway?

Most springs now don't really "settle" that much. If it were me, I'd wait no more than a couple of weeks after installing springs to get it aligned.
A poorly aligned car can destroy a set of tires quickly if not taken care of soon. So whether or not you drop the car now, definitely don't let the alignment go too long if you think it's off.

Alignment does not effect the install or operation of springs at all, so if your gonna go for a alignment and you want your car lowered I'd say now is the time to do it. Remember to wait at least two weeks after the spring install to let them settle before you get an alignment. Alignment will have an effect on how the car rides and handles and also tire wear, so just keep that in mind!good luck!
