willwood kit cost 1300
how in the world can can the GB price be more than the regular price.
the wilwood kit is going to be 1000 for GB or something.
BBK's are usually for the front only because our cars are small and light thus not need that strong of braking power..
other GB's have been done before.
all tats needed is a list and a person who is an authorized dealer.
we have quadoptix who is selling willwood 4 piston BBK for the TC doing our GB and TAEK has started the list.

the kit coming out in 2 weeks, is that the 4piston kit? on their site, the only one listed on their site so far is the 6 piston model. also, is their an official price yet? thanks

hello everyone sorry im replying so late i havent been on the comp all day today. I have spoken w/ my contacts and the wilwood group buy price will be 1100 tax included plus shipping and handling if you are not in the SOCAL area. Remember people this product carries a MSRP of $1500 and i normall sell it on this site at $1300. This group buy is a ONE TIME DEAL as wilwood wants to get these out on the market and I will be the first to have it available. The kit gets released next week and i would like to have the group buy concluded by the end of the week so the order goes thru, so you guys in turn are the first ones with the brakes. Yes, only 5 kits are needed to be sold in order to seal the group buy. This is the forged 4 piston kit wilwood is releasing. So if you guys would like this group buy to happen, it will happen REAL SOON =) providing the quota is met, which isnt much at all. A rear upgrade i will talk to them as soon as this GB is finished. Also, i will do group buys for other parts after this one is concluded as i dont like doing too many things at once. I would rather do one thing at a time n do it in a orderly fashion. interesting seein that the BIG BRAKE KIT ISNT EVEN OUT YET. it wont be out for another week. Also, im sure some of you have learned the ebay scam companies. I'm not saying this one is one of those, but to my reps knowledge they ARE NOT a approved vendor for wilwood. And my rep also has told me that that is NOT an authorized sale. I'm not meaning to bash you, but ive been screwed on ebay myself before for a high $ item also at a crazy deal. Its not always what it seems.
FYI, read the product desciption, the product specs are completely off. Thats in terms of the technical aspect of the product description. I'm not sure about you, but w/ wrong products specs, no stainless lines included, and no custome support as how all ebay sales are, i personally dont trust that. for example my old lexus had a supra motor i bought a greddy turbo kit for a ridiculously cheap price..well guess what it was missing a grip of parts. and some stuff didnt even fit or was broken.
anyhow ill point out some technical errors as to show any doubters here on SL why that kit on ebat is BS
- proportioning valve included.... The wilwood kits for the tC do NOT need a proportioning valve as the kit is designed to work w/o one as is most new big brake kits nowadays. proportioning valves are a thing of the past.
- bearings and seals... hmm interesting that u need bearings for a big brake kit. and so forth for the seals These kits already come pre-assembled. no need for any of that.
that was a couple examples that lead me to believe that this guy doesnt know what he's talking about and prolly selling a bogus product. I personally myself have wilwood front and rear big brake upgrade and have done my own install and some of the parts that he's talked about, i have never heard or seen wilwood needing those parts
well in short that price is below dealer cost. so no wayits real. u guys can buy it if you want, but i personally dont trust it as i dont trust ebay after wasting 3 grand.
