Better pads and lines and rotors alone make a huge difference, even without going with a different caliper.

I have the willwoods and THEY DO NOT CLEAR FACTORY WHEELS. Honestly for everyday driving I would do the stoptech stage 2 and call it good. We get a lot of rain and they are a pain in the ___in the rain....definitely not recommended for DD! Remember that BBKs are not for stopping quicker, but for more consistent braking over longer periods of times like on road courses. BBK=more surface for heat dissipation This can also be achieved w/ a good upgrade like the Stoptech upgrade or a good set of pads and SS lines.

Sure are pretty tho:

J3ster claims they fit on stock rims. He has pictures to prove it. I believe he was also sponsored by Wilwood at one point.

I see he also had the same problem as I did with the brake lines being too short...if they were about 2" longer (story of my life) they would have been perfect.

you were just selecting random pictures. He clearly says he tried them with and without spacers and they work (#3). Not calling you a liar, im just stating what he said.

Yeah i had the same problem with the lines that came on my Dynalite kit. I had to leave the line loose and not bolt it up to the strut in order to get the length and clearance when turning. I'll post a few pics i took a couple days ago.

Here are some installed pics. Sorry for the not so great pics and for the ugly stock painted wheels. Those will be off very soon. This kit looks so much better in person. iphone camera does no justice.

Plenty of clearance. This kit can be installed on as little as a 15" wheel.

Tried stockies and the EMX's no luck, not even close to enough backspaces. The guy I bought them from (Mrwilson99) sold them becasue they would not clear factory wheels...Also Domo those pics were taken from the thread you posted.

Yea you selected random pics from the thread. He showed the pic you displayed here as an example of the wilwoods with spacers, there was no caption below that explain he only used spacers. Any who, they are nice bbks.

keep in mind also that TRD/Stoptech kit, is over $2000 and if you go for the 1100 TRD kit that is not stoptech, not even a little bit

Not sure if this question is for me but yes this kit is on without any spacers. This is a custom kit made by fastscions/fastbrakes that utilizes a wilwood 4 piston caliper. It's an 11" rotor with a smaller 4 piston caliper from wilwood that can allow you to go as low as a 15" wheel.

For DD this is more than enough stopping power. Don't really need a $1300 BBK that i have to worry about what wheels i can fit it with. This is still a BBK but with a little smaller caliper than the one that comes in the tc kit. Stopping power is great and for $780 shipped i couldn't pass it up. I'm happy with it and hey if i ever decide to build my motor and up the boost i know i can put 15" steelies with a nice pair of slicks on for the track with no problem.

if your caliper fits with the stock wheel then the standard wilwood should fit with stockies as well.
