Thanks for the comment. I am totally loving my coils. Especially BCs design on their other models. The inverted monotube is flawless and at the sametime, unique. I also love the design on their high end coilover where there's another oil reservoir attached to the coil itself. Do you plan on taking your tC to the track? 11k and 16k are very aggressive spring rates, those are higher than the standard rates for the G35/350z which I believe are 12 in front and 10 in the rear or maybe it's the other way around. I would wear like a hockey helmet if I had 11k and 16k spring rates. 8 and 10 are pretty bouncy already and I have the damping setting at 8.

Forgot to mention: I will be attending a local meet sometime this month so I will post better quality pictures.

Performance update

I finally got my car aligned and decided to see how these Coilovers truly perform. When ever anyone says suspension is the best bang for your buck, it's no BS. Most definitely one of the greatest modifications I have done. When I first got the TRD set up, I thought those were great too but the BC Coilovers obviously out perform the usual spring and strut set up. Every now and then I like to take on or off ramps to the freeway at an aggressive rate and the car hugs the road like no other. The tires I have now are the BF Goodrich g-force super sports but if I had tires that were a tiny bit more sticky, the car would hug the road even better. The damping setting I am currently at now is 8 all around but I've been told that for a front wheel drive car, you want the front settings to be stiffer in the rear and also from another person that the settings should be equal all round, I am not sure but it would be nice if I was given some of your guy's input about that. Overall, the BR type coils is most likely the setup for your tC if you plan on autox or going to the track every now and then. It's not as pricey as the SSPs or the F2 type II but in my opinion, these are way better than what I expected. If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

My spring rates are 450 in the front and 560 in the rear. You can also do custom spring rates as well. The ride quality that these coils provide are very impressive. Where I live, our roads can by bumpy but with the standard spring rates might seem a lot, they are actually not bad. The ride is not too soft nor too rough. It's actually perfect in my opinion. It rides fairly smooth but at the same time, it is stiff. It's actually quite hard to explain because I have never been in a car with coils that are smooth and stiff haha. My damping setting is 8 all around so that could also be a factor. I dont go to the track that often but I do drive aggressive every now and then as well. These do not cost as much as the F2s which is probably about 100 dollars more and also their spring rates are 450 all around. I know that the BCs can get very stiff if the damping setting is cranked up all the way. I havent gone pass 10 yet haha but I will eventually. Theres nothing wrong with the F2s but for BC, it's worth every penny. Let me know what you plan on getting. I think it's free shipping from meng if you get BCs from him which will cost you 990.

From my experience, if anyone gets these coils, you will be more than satisfied if you are coming from the standard spring/strut set up. I'll probably create a BC Coilover thread if more people have them.

NICE! Post some pictures when you install them and let me know if you have questions if you run into any problems. Where did you order them from?

That's unusual about the dings on your coils. When I opened mine, they were wrapped up pretty good with bubble wrap and then those styrofoam peanuts were added in there too. But it wont effect anything unless the threads on the coils are messed up. Mine took two weeks as well but it was worth the wait. Have fun when you install these, the results are amazing! And take your time when you adjust for the ride height that you desire.

i had them installed yesterday, i actually maxed the coilovers down without taking out any perches. The ride quality is quite amazing, the same corners i take daily feel a whole lot different. I bet the ride would be even better if i raised it to the optimal drop.

Oh damn! Im suprised you havent gone through your roof haha. Im at 8 all around for now but I am about to put the settings at 12. I kept it at a low setting so the coils can break/settle in.

Just finished installing mine and I must say I'm very disappointed. Had a problem installing the front struts due to the bracket being too narrow but I work some magic to get it in. Then I'm disappointed yet again with the rears both missing a bolt. Talk about quality control =(. I took pics and I'm going to send it to BC coilovers hoping to see what can be done. BTW any you guys have a slight konging noise going over bumps? It only happens sometimes.

Sorry to hear that you had issues about your installation and missing parts. Thats odd how the bracket was too narrow. My installation went pretty smooth. The only issue that I had was getting the strut bolts loose. The ones on top were easy but the ones on the bottom were ridiculous. Where did you order your coils from? As for the noise going over bumps, I have no issues with that. Is it coming from the front or the rear? Let me know what ends up happening when you contact BC. Can you still use your stock bolts?
