i'm not hating, i'm really interested in these, and the suspension bushings, but so far my second hand review of the endlinks is less than stellar.

i will say this though, the dezod endlinks are awesome in terms of strength compared to the oem ones, which kanundrum throughly bent the hell outta.

if the angle of the swaybar was not changed and endlinks were swapped out and stayed at the same spec height.... how could there be improvement... the variable was not changed... lol..

The notion that I wouls somehow "reverse engineer" them is pretty entertaining. You guys didn't reinvent the wheel here, you made adjustable endlinks... then claimed that they can make a difference in handling all by themselves. That's some full force smoke blowing, right there.

But the implication that because I make parts means I would steal yours... wow. Stay Classy, Buffalo.

well, i don't know about that, they are an improvement because they are just alot stronger than the stock ones. kanundrums front end links were completely bent out of shape from like 3 seasons of autocrossing. and when you actually sit down and compare them side by side, you can see a huge difference...actually, i think he made a post about that somewhere...i'll see if i can dig it up for you.

Definitely an install issue. The race team runs the fronts with no issues. We are going to run the fronts on this vehicle as well to further test these.

With respect to the rears, if the angle of the endlink is anything other than perpendicular to the mounting surfaces and suspension load is not on the suspension, it can cause failure because your adding unusual suspensional torsion which can cause breakage.

To my knowledge nothing was changed, but I did not personally turn the wrenches. I merely asked and watched part of the install.

WOW! You're professionalism overwhelms me there champ. I am not even gonna comment anymore to your responses with an ending comment like that.

No where did I ever say we "reinvented the wheel". It's actually a simple part to make if you know the conecepts, but the exact components and materials are what sets it all apart from the norm, and even still not that difficult.

You're comment about Buffalo, actually makes me laugh as you know NOTHING about this town, who we are, where we have been and started etc. You're truly showing your colors. I had nothing but love, but man that is really mature.

So a completely unveiled joke from a movie is what it takes to offend you? After you basically called me a thief of intellectual property? Loosen thy grip.

You sir... shrug. Enjoy your magical endlinks.

i know the thread.. and ive seen both stock ones and dezod ones.... in fact i helped a fellow SLer reinstall his the way they should be ran ... they are thicker, beefier, but alas i saw bends in the endlinks. i drive extremely harsh every day and driving my car in hialeah were i live is like driving on autoX mode all day and never once have i had an issue with my stock ones... i agree to some aspect they look stronger and beefier, but the few times ive seen them i wasnt wowed... its a nice finish product to a full suspension but definitely not a major part in the grand scheme of it all unless you really track heavily or do some kind of custom LCA or super low riding suspension work.

the buffalo comment however seemed more as a small stab and jab then a joke.. IMO it shoulda been left out. no need to take stabs that way and talk about being professional in the same statement. .... wow and yea thats me pete saying that.. the mother lover of SL stabbing

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. I was just informed from one of my associates here that the line is from a movie with Will Farrell, whom I am not a fan of, and I apologize for flying off the handle. There is always so much damn drama on here that is always comes down to having defending your stance and opinion no matter what happens or is said. It's said, but it's the truth. SL = love for drama. Again, no hard feelings.

PM sent.

Wow, I wasn't expecting this type of argument to even take place, all for endlinks? paul_dezod, you made a comment that sounded like the doc was going to make a copy of your product and list it for sell on his website, that is plain ol' horse crap. You represent a company and when you make statements that have no valid truth and start insulting people that I find has very reputable knowledge, ____es me off

Keep your endlinks, I won't be buying or recommend your products to anyone, anymore.

I did make a formal appology via PM for the record. Hence the PM sent. I was out of line, but we DO get people all the time trying to copy our turbo systems and other components. So I guess your guard is always up. Again, I did not mean any harm.

I felt the same way, until my associate here told me about the movie it's a spin off of.

It was DEFINETLY Not an install Issue. I was a Mechanical Engineer for Land Rover North America and a simple end-link install isn't tough at all. Even when I followed Toyota spec procedures torque everything down to the spec with electronic Snap-On torque wrenches the loosening of the bolts was still a issue. Then I posted it up and you said something about compressing the suspension which I have never really heard of in terms of installing end-links (nor does Toyota mention it in there manuals for replacing the such) but I went ahead and compressed the suspension purchased some washers to try to counteract the movement of the bolt and put industrial strength locktite on the threads and still resulted in the same type of problem, Which is why I suggested making your front end links stationary instead of adjustable, thicker end-links will prevent them from bending and will provide much more of a rigid setup.

I don't know what kind of racing you do but I do some hardcore daily driving and that’s where I had my problem. Which is why i offered to send them back to you so you can adjust them for me and then I can just pop it on the car, but you said you don’t have a owner with a Hotchkis sway bar in the area.

To my knowledge that Hotchkis sway bar is designed to only be a thicker replacement for the stock unit, there is no difference besides the adjustability in the sway bar in terms of positioning since its designed to work with the stock end links.

If I can send your end links back to you so you can adjust them to stock spec and send them back to me so I can drive them, there shouldn’t be a problem 100% of any sort.

Want to give that a try?

Let me trump that. Hold off on sending them back, once I can get our local fella in here and set his up for the stock swap and such, I will mirror his and send you yours back or a new set. I will PM you once I have them on and done.

The rears should not have bent unless you have a REALLY ton of pre-load on hard setting, jarred a hard pot hole and then they bent to smitherines. Our roads in Buffalo here are HORRID and if he has not bent them or harmed them at all in the 500-1000 miles, which he should rack up VERY soon with 90 miles commute across town round trip, I will venture to say that it is still install related. I can not understand how approx 100-125 customers have had positive long lasting endlinks, while 5-10 have not. All though, from trending, which we try to document all of the failures, where caused from a Hotchkis or TRD bar on the hardest setting.
