Default Blown TRD strut

Could a bad install have blown my strut. The spring is not seated correctly and there is oil dripping from the top of the boot. Any help is appreciated!

Yup, sounds like its blown. If there is leaking and you know the spring was not seated right, could be. Is it bouncing like crazy???

They were new in the box, but I had them in storage for 2 years so my warranty is gone. The car doesn't bounce at all. That's what amazed me when I saw it. They were just installed about a week ago.

they leak for awhile before they are completely bouncy. You should notice a difference though...

Daily driver for about a week after installation. No crazy driving, just tough Philly streets.
It's the driver side rear that was leaking.

They aren't claiming any responsibility. The few things that are wrong with the install they say they are going to fix.
