This isn't the first time I've seen a snapped hotchkis front bar. You can tell by looking at the paint on the bar that it was rubbing against something and its only a matter of time till it wears to the point where it fails. I'm not sure if it is a flaw in the installation process or the actual bar but I think the installation instructions on trdsparks website covers how it should be installed. This is what I like about Hotchkis, they send you a new one since the old one broke, too bad more companies aren't like this.

you can run just a rear sway bar they just dont recommend it at all specially since you autox... im getting just the rear for my daily driver i dont intend to put it under enough stress to be dangerous to myself... but it looks like the sway bar was rubbing on somthing right by the break lol am i wrong?

No, I would be mad if i had it on for 15 or 20k miles and i didnt track/run my car the way i do and it still would have snapped, Aftermarket equipment is jut that, its after market, its not OEM which is the best thing for your car so thats the gamble you take everytime you put something aftermarket on your car. I had the sways installed since day 1 and 60k miles later it broke, thats pretty average life span for suspesion components OEM or not and the fact that it lasted this long while me autoxin and driving hard and such is also another +

Dang. Did it do that mid-turn?

And I'm pretty sure that you don't need any sway bars to drive around, but Hotchkis rear and no front has got to be...interesting.
