Default Buddy Club Coilovers

I was wondering what's the word on the buddy club coils? I searched through scion life and couldn't find a review on the coils (unless I'm a noob at searching). I remember a couple people had these on their set ups with aggressive wheel specs. What's your thoughts on these coils? Are they reliable? Ride quality? I'm in the market for new coils. My SS-P's are not low enough.

I'm using the Buddy Club N+ coilovers and they're great. I think it's only me and cleanFMtc that are using them right now.

The ride quality is pretty good imo, I forgot how stock feels but it's 100x better than my Ksports. These coilovers absorb a lot of the bumps and stuff that I use to feel on my old coilovers. They're pretty stiff as well and can go pretty low. I havent had any problems with these and I think I'm pretty low and I have yet to bottom out with these coils. I hope that kind of helps but if you have any questions LMK!

Thanks a bunch. Any feedback from people with the coils is always good. Gives me a good idea of what I'm expecting from the coils.

Yepp I've been on buddy clubs since last November and they have been great so far. They are really comfy but yet still stiff. And of course they go low as well, as low as b&g's maybe lower. I will be maxing mine out in a few weeks. The coilover also seems put together very well. They just feel really solid.

hey peter, I just looked at your progress thread and is that the lowest the coils could go? I thought max was up to 4 inches.

The pictures in my progress thread are out-of-date. Those are pictures of my car on Ksport coilovers, I havent taken any new ones of the current drop but I will do that tomorrow. These coilovers can go low.

Yeah OP these can go LOW. That is not a problem!! I think I need to get shorter endlinks for my front in order to drop it all the way. Still waiting on my wheels to come in for me to go lower!!

I updated my thread if you wanted to see the ride height. It's not too low but I cant go any lower because of fat tires :]

How are you guys getting the N+'s so low? My friend has them on his RSX and even maxed out on 18's we have a 2 finger gap...

Each application is different... I know the civic guys dump the rears by lowering the spring preload after the shock is raised all the way up, that's how the rears are for us, the fronts you just raise the lower mount all the way up...

Ya, i was doing more reading for him and they don't go any lower. He is so bummed that he spent 1,300 on them and then they don't dump the car

Yeah that blows. But that's why you should do research before going out and buying something! I actually took a risk on buying these, when I got mine NO ONE had them on the tC. I know the function&form coilovers can dump the rsx, a few of my friends have them and they go low, but they don't dump the tC..

My car on buddy club coilovers, tucking stretched 205/40's on 17x9's. They can still go another 3/4" lower in the front and another 2" in the rear with all collars still in place!
