got the front on today. got the height perfect on the first try

need to raise the back a quarter inch.

then get a alignment probably next week.

ride is a lot better then TRD springs with stock shocks thats for sure.

anyone know which way to turn the *** for smoother levels?
cant tell with their Hi-Lo thing...

haha thanks i'll give it a try 2morrow. if i have time i need to raise the front for a nice rake.

the front setup was a lot stiffer then expected. but it is a lot nicer then lower springs.

really responsive turns.

im getting a bit of noise from my front coilovers. i got it maxed counterclock wise.
its a metalic clunking noise.
http://www.meganracing.com/tech/faqs...m%20coilovers?
from the diagram in that link they said tighten the nut just below the damper ***? cuz im guessing loosening to make it soft gave it too much slack?

You should only be turning the damping adjuster, not the nut the nut. Try tightening the nut back up, and setting the damping to full soft.

I haven't had to tighten anything on the B&G's. All(well most, depends if you have to reuse factory top mounts) coilovers should have been pretty much set from factory, all the end user has to do is install, set height, damper adjustment and get an alignment. IDK what to tell you, it shouldn't be the nut just below the damper adjustment **** though since they come already assembled. With the front, make sure the preload is still tight. I had to move the collar up to the spring after driving my car after a while up front, and actually the lower locking collar(lock in the height) on the driver side broke loose(my fault, should done a few more taps with a screwdriver and hammer).

If I wanted to I would have to take them out for raising, but for me to go lower where it is now, no.

well it turns out u dont need to take anything out to adjust them. the top shock cylinder spins freely. thank god.

im raising it a little more. i got a reverse rake

also is anyone elses coilovers damper adjustment *** hitting/touching the plastic cover/tray below the wiper blades? i was suggested to cut a hole there...

Yeah mine are the same way. So I cut a hole in the plastic, then played with the camber plates now the ***** are no longer in the holes and once again touching the plastic. Doesn't bother me though. You don't NEED to cut the holes though.

I have the same issue with the damper adjustment ***** touching the wiper cowl. I left it as is, the stickers didnt last long after a few turn(what happens when doing adjustments at night). I just lift the plastic up and do the adjustment.

Now that you have cut holes in the wiper cover, rainwater will be directed to the top of your damper.

I've had the coilovers for over 2 yrs. That's 2 rainy seasons and have not had any problems. Then again the rains aren't that bad here in Socal.

i ended up zip-tieing everything down tightly so hopefully it'll help. if no i'll just stick a piece a rubber between the top damper later.

i just need to get a alignment and im all done.

^If your BC coilovers don't go low low, you're doing it wrong. There's some on here on BC and are stupid low.

Cool: IDK about that issue going on. Hit up FF also and find out what they'd say.

they go pretty low. without compressing the springs i get about a negative 1-1.5 finger gap (tucked under the fender)
but thats was near impossible to drive. especially with weight. (but i doubt u guys care)

i'll email them to see what im doing wrong. i was hoping to get a quick answer. thanks

don't have that problem, but is it coming from 1 side or all 4 corners?
