Coilover Owners help me out!..Thanks
Ok...After installing my Coilovers I noticed when Turning my Steering Wheel I hear a weird "tension like popping" when turning the wheel.
Are you people w/ Coilovers have this issue too?
Is it ok?...To where I shouldnt have to worry about damaging the Steering Components?
Thanks!!!!

how low are you?
are you using stock or aftermarket endlinks?
mines had the same popping tension noise also, when i replaced the function and form endlinks with the stock endlinks, the noise went away.

Cool, I am maybe at 2inches in the front.
I do remember when installing had a hard time lining up the Endlink into the bracket on the Strut...Maybe it is an Endlink issue???

yea check the endlink, a lot of times (with me anyways) it starts to spin so you think you got it tight but in reality its not and it has play, if you're using stock endlinks try getting a 6mm allen key and a 17mm wrench to tighten it. it'll take longer but it will be tight.

UPDATE
So this morning I took both wheels off...got in the car Started her up...Turned the Wheel and OF COURSE it doesnt make the noise!....LoL
I guess it needs Weighted Pressure to hear the noise now.
I did Doubled-Check that eveything was TIGHT..Including the Endlinks.
So I am puzzled now.

Mine is making the same popping noise and it seems that there is too much stress on the stock endlinks so im going to try to put in the Form and Function endlinks and see what happens.

^depending on how low you are, example if you are slammed to the max like me, the F&F endlinks will make the front sway bar bang on your frame.
however if you are only reasonably dropped, i think they might help.

I'm only dropped a little lower than Tein S-Techs drop. Id say I'm dropped about 2.9" in the front and about 2.5" in the rear. We looked at the end links and it seems that is what is causing the popping noise. Its only on the front right though so it looks like it might just be that it was going bad anyways but who knows. We shall see once i put in the F&F endlinks.

Ok so it wasn't the endlinks. It was a little clip that bolts to the strut. It was rubbing against the strut causing a popping noise so I repositioned it and there is no more popping noise.
